Screening registration privacy

We collect the child's name, date of birth and class, together with the parent or legal guardian's contact details and consent, to organise the screening and communicate with the family.

Authorised Peek-a-Vu staff can access registrations. The school may receive a limited coordination list with names, classes and registration status. This list does not include screening findings.

Our website hosting and email providers process information to operate this service. For online payment, PayFast receives the payer's contact details, amount and booking reference. Children's names, dates of birth and consent text are not included in the payment request.

This registration system does not store screening results. Individual results are handled separately and communicated privately to the parent or legal guardian. Contact us to ask about access, corrections, withdrawal or deletion; we will verify your authority before acting.

Test records are automatically removed after 7 days. Unpaid live registrations are scheduled for removal 30 days after the screening date.

The operator must set the retention period for confirmed registrations and consent before opening live registration.
